Well done to our fantastic Under 11's who defeated an improving Railway side away in Harrogate.
With a near 100% turnout all the girls played their part. In the first half Scotton played all its less experienced girls including Rhia, Alex, Emma,Rebecca C and regular players Mollie,Jayde and Ellie. They went in at half time 2:1 up with two well taken goals by Jayde. Alex played her first match for the Scorchers and aquitted herself really well on the left wing. Rhia grows in confidence and played enthusiastically in defence. Emma had another solid display in defence and Rebecca C battled hard on the right. Jayde tormented the Railway defence and Ellie was as usual in control in the defence. Mollie played well in goal and pulled off a superb save towards the end of the half to keep Scotton ahead.
The team was changed at half time and Georgia,Rebecca S , Josie, Hannah and Molly entered the fray. The regulars dominated the second half and scored six goal (two for Josie, Two for Rebecca and one for Georgia). All the girls played well and for each other. Well done Girls!!!!!!!!!!
Next Match this Saturday (15th March) at home against Wetherby Athletic Under 12's with a 10.30 kickoff.
