Ripon City Panthers showed today why they are last years champions and cup finalists with an energetic and talented set of players. Scorchers started brightly and for 20 minutes played well before Panthers really started passing the ball around and hitting the back of the net. The Scorchers got in some very useful defensive practice and with no subs and 2 players not fully fit were a credit to the club, showing great resolve and determination. Every player gave their all and couldnt quite get the goal they deserved. Coach Mike said after the game that Scorchers had learnt alot and were already looking ahead to our next league fixture, the girls gave their all and you cant ask for more than that!! Emily was player of the day, for a battling defensive midfield performance. Mum's please can i have any remaining £11 for the shorts and socks thanks.
