Scorchers Girls Finish The Season Against York

The girls finished the season with a mixed age fixture against York Railway. All the games were competetive but fair, with the Scorchers girls giving a good account of themselves. There were a number of fine performances, Hannah at the back defending with real vigour and setting up a number of attacks, Daisy in goal showing more and more confidence, with better distribution, Caitlin playing on after receiving a real hit in the face Georgia, creating numerous chances but just been unable to find the back of the net and Kayleigh who smashed a terrific goal showing absolute determination with every tackle and every kick. All the girls as usual did the club proud.
