Scorchers U13's took on local friendly rivals Knaresborough Celtic on Saturday, in an entertaining match. Scorchers did well against Celtics U14's who in the end just proved too much for them, however Kayleigh scored a great goal to bag her third goal in as many games. All the girls played well, with Imogen twice coming close to scoring and although we lost Imogen to injury played on regardless playing some of their best attacking football with Abbie, Shannon and Caitlin all having chances. Abbie was player of the day.
Sunday sees Scorchers take on last seasons champions Pannal Sports in the cup, Kick off 11.30, please be at Pannal meadows for no later than 11.00am. The squad is Daisy, Philipa, Rebecca, Imogen, Caitlin, Hayley, Emily, Kayleigh and Shannon.
