U13's Caitlin Scores Her First League Goal!!!!

Scorchers were in action again playing Thirsk this week at home. Whilst the final result was disappointing the girls again gave their all. Playing some great attacking football at times they should have scored more, but just couldnt take their chances. The girls were also guilty of a number of silly defensive errors and giving the falcons too much space. Having said that Falcons new signing was in scintilating form and caused problems every time they had the ball. The girls never gave up and still managed a smile at the end. Caitlin scored a great goal that the keeper couldnt keep out, with her shot hitting the roof of the net. Player of the day was Philippa who had another great game in defence. With lots of games still to play some extra midweek practice will give us a good base to take in to the rest of the season. Keep going girls!!!
