The U13's squad started the season with a 4-0 win away to Ripon Panthers.
In glorious sunshine both teams kick off their 9 a side format in splendid fashion.
Both sides used the space intelligently and were passing the ball around well but the scorchers went in at half time 1-0 up thanks to Georgia T who managed to deflect a shot around the unlucky Ripon goalkeeper.
In the second half georgia really got to grips with the new found space and played some great 'one twos' with her teammates and bagged herself a well deserved hat-trick(3 Goals for those who don't know!)Georgia R helped herself to a great strike too and the scored finished 4-0 to the scorchers.
Player of the match was Emma Collier for her great defensive work and commitment to the team.Although all the team could have won this on the way they all played today.
Well done to all girls, ripon included who to be said had their fair share of chances too.
Thanks to Maddy and Emily for helping out and showing what a great CLUB spirit we have this year.
