The U13's picked up another 3 points on saturday morning against a valiant Knaresborough Celtic team.
Both sides had key players missing but the girls that came in as cover did a fantastic job.
The game was a very open attacking affair with both teams hungry for goals.
In the first half Katy Adamson picked up her debut goal with a lovely finish after great work from Georgia T. GT picked up a goal herself and the score at half time was 2-1 to the scorchers.
In the second half all the girls kept up a fantastic work rate and goals from Ellie,GT and a second for Katy saw the game finish 5-3 to the scorchers.
As I always say every girl was fantastic and their commitment is brilliant.
It was lovely to see both sides getting on really well and interesting to see some conversations between opposing teams whilst the game was being played!

So we play Celtic again in two weeks time at Knaresborough, lets hope for a similar result but most of all lets hope we see another great game of football played between friends.
