On Saturday we hosted Fulford on a surprisingly good pitch at the cricket club and both teams produced some good football in a highly entertaining game,which ended 0-0 but could have gone either way.
The girls produced some lovely passing movements and dominated the first half creating chances for Ellie and Saffy but alas we couldn't convert these.
In the second half Fulford rallied and put us under more pressure but good defending from player of the match and captain Vicky accompanied by Olivia kept Fulford at bay.
Charlotte and Jess broke up attacks and kept pushing us forward.
In the last minute we thought Fulford had stolen it but a brilliant save by Lizzie kept us in it, from her long kick we went swiftly up the other end and could have won it ourselves but Saffy's shot was well saved.
In the friendly the girls tried out different positions and we ran out 2-0 winners with both goals from Ellie who linked well with Georgie to cause Fulford lots of problems.
