Referees
Most matches will be refereed by NRCFA referees and U10s and U11s will be refereed by 15/16 year old girls from the North Yorkshire Girls Centre of Excellence who have previously played in this tournament and have attended a mini soccer referee organized by the CYGFL and the NRCFA. As we all know refereeing isn’t an easy job unless you’re on the touch lines and spot something that referees at whatever level don’t always see. So please support and encourage them as they have given up their time for very little reward to referee your teams, Please ensure all players and parents are briefed on respect for referees as any individual may be asked to leave if they show lack of respect. Remember without referees you wouldn’t be playing football here today. RESPECT

England Football Day
As you all know the World Cup will have started with England playing against the USA the day before and this tournament has been registered with the FA as an England Football Day, so please show your support for the team by bringing along England Flags, Banners or anything Red and White. (Scottish, Welsh, Irish and all other Nationalities are welcome to bring their own flags).
