With just the 9 players the girls produced a magnificent display of football against a resilient Fulford side to come away with a 2-0 win this morning. Georgie R scored a magnificent volley after great work from GT to take the girls into half time 1-0. All over the park the girls were playing superbly and everyone of them was playing their part and really helping their teammates. It really was great to watch all the girls working so hard for each and playing some great natural fluid football. In the second half Molly went on a great run and put in a superb cross which evaded all the players until the 'fox in the box' Jayde popped up at the back post to cooly slot in Scotton's second goal. Fulford were not without their chances and one rocket of a shot was tipped onto the bar by Riah in goal to keep the Foxes at bay. Every player played superbly but girl of the game went to GT who despite not getting a goal played her heart out and caused huge problems for the Foxes all game. All in all both teams played very well but today was the Scorchers day, well played to all.
