Well done girls, the U12 girls picked up their first 3 points today away to a vastly improved Harrogate Railway.
Again the wicked runs of molly webster undid a spirited railway and molly was deserved of her 2 goals today unluckily unable to pick up her hat-trick but her all round play was brilliant.She was ably assisted in midfield by the player of the match Rebecca C who has come on leaps and bounds this season,Rebecca had it all today,great passing,turns,tracking back,tackling and some great running with the ball. The back 3 of hannah, georgie and rebecca S marshalled the railway attack very effectively and pushed forward when required. A big effort was put in today by georgia T who was under the weather but still managed to score a goal and contribute to her team,well done georgia.(Get well soon)Again thanks to our two keepers who have been sharing the duties this season,Riah & Jayde.
The first half started with a regular looking side and by half time were 3-0 up thanks to goals from molly W (2) & georgia T.
In the second half rebecca S managed to stay long enough to get her first goal of the season(well done) and Jayde rounded off a brilliant performance with her first goal as well (well done also).
All in all a very good result from what could of been a very tricky game.
Praise must go to the Railway girls too who had chances but met up with a very tight defence today. A great game all round.
