Our Girls U12's welcomed a top of the League and unbeaten Bedale side on Saturday.
The match was a classic with Scotton 2-0 up at half time only for Bedale to come out after the break and score 2 quick goals to make it 2-2.
It looked like the opposition would take control of the game but Scotton quickly scored a 3rd then defended like lions to secure a well deserved 3-2 victory.
To quote one of the watching parents;
"Best
game I've ever seen us play full stop. It was far better than most FA
cup matches I've seen. Our passion and dogged determination won the day,
Bedale
are an organised side but we had the belief and the right attitude for
the entire game, we just never gave up".
