BOWLING
& NANDOS - Saturday 4th January 2014
Happy
New Year!!
Some
of the U16s Girls squad started the New Year with a ‘social’ evening, partaking
in a game of Ten Pin Bowling followed by a nice meal at Nando's in Leeds.
Getting
everyone together is always difficult, with coursework and other commitments
taking priority – so a big thanks to John & Eloise for taking time to
organise this!
We
all met at the ‘Hollywood Bowl’ in Leeds and split into two ‘teams’ – John
leading one and Wayne leading the other! The challenge – the highest scoring
player gets a ‘free’ dinner!!
Everyone
started cautiously but soon got into the ‘swing’ (ha ha) of things… including
the nachos with salsa and guacamole and fries!!
But
wait… what’s that? Not 1, 2 3 but 4 strikes from Chloe – leading the strike
force as always!! No doubt about who was getting fed for free tonight…well done
Chloe!!
Great effort everyone else!!
After
a bit of time in the arcades, we headed to Nandos – where we all had a great
meal!! Some even tried the ‘peri peri’…!! (No not Katy Perry!!)
Great
night, great company….looking forward to end of season do!!!
